Do you paint? Why or why not?
I love to paint. My favorite medium is watercolors. However, I often do artworks with both watercolor and acrylic. I like to paint because it is a very relaxing process and a great way to express yourself like many other forms of art. I mostly paint animals and leave things like humans to my color pencils or digital mediums. Though I do plan on practicing painting people when I get the chance.
I actually had this finished yesterday, but I was not at all satisfied with what it looked like, so I decided to do a few tweaks today. I think it came out pretty nice. The biggest trouble I had was the face because I was not sure what to do with it. I did not like how plain it looked and that is often what happens to the faces of characters whenever I shade the way I do unless I add multiple shades of the same color. However, this time I did not want to add so many different shades because that is a very time consuming process in itself.
